Heffinger Interiors, LLC ("Heffinger Interiors," "we," or "us") is an interior design studio in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect through heffinger.com and our services, including The Heffinger Edit, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us, book a consultation, buy a plan, or fill out a questionnaire, we collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, home address or city and state, details about your room, your style preferences, your budget, and measurements.
Photos of your space. For The Heffinger Edit, you send us photos of your room. Please do not include people in your photos.
Payment information. Payments are handled by our website platform and its payment processors. We receive confirmation of your purchase and limited details such as your name, billing address, and the last four digits of your card. We do not see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools to make the site work and to understand how it is used, such as pages visited, browser and device type, and approximate location. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site, like checkout, may not work without them.

Your photos and your plan
We use the photos and information you provide only to create your plan and serve you. We do not share your photos publicly without your permission. As described in our Terms, we may share the finished plan and images of it in our portfolio, website, and social media, without your name or address, unless you opt out at checkout.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
With service providers who help us run our business, such as our website and e-commerce platform, payment processors, and email and file storage providers, who may use it only to provide those services to us

Your plan and our site may include links to independent retailers, some of which are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer may collect information about you under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
How long we keep information
We keep your information as long as needed to provide our services, keep business and tax records, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your photos and questionnaire after your plan is delivered.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or online storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our site and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Plans may be purchased only by people 18 or older.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
