What to expect on install day

Install day is when all the planning, sourcing, and tracking finally pays off. It is the moment your space starts acting like the best version of itself.

The designer arrives prepared
Expect your designer to show up with measurements, notes, a game plan, and usually a coffee that is far too strong. The goal is simple. Get the space fully set and styled with as little disruption as possible.

The team handles placement
Furniture is moved in. Art is hung. Rugs are placed. Lighting is set. Every item has an intended location and your designer steers the ship so it comes together exactly as planned.

Styling begins
This is where the magic happens. Pillows are fluffed, books are stacked, trays are arranged, and the room starts feeling intentional. Your designer might shuffle a few things more times than they will ever admit.

Quality checks happen throughout
Your designer will inspect everything. If a chair arrives with a wobble or a lamp scratches the floor, it will be noted and addressed. You should not have to worry about a thing.

You may be asked to step out temporarily
We prefer clients to step out during installation so the transformation can take shape without interruption. It keeps the process smooth and makes the reveal far more rewarding. Once everything is placed and styled, we’ll bring you back in for the full moment.

A reveal wraps it up
Once everything is set, styled, and approved, you get the full walk through. Your designer will also review any outstanding items such as backorders, exchanges, or punch list notes.

Aftercare is part of the process
Expect follow up on items still en route, recommendations for care, and answers to any questions once you start living in the space.
